For ten years, women have been coming together through A Wee Retreat.
Sometimes around a fire.
Sometimes in circle.
Sometimes on retreat.
Sometimes for the very first time.
Different stories.
Different seasons of life.
The same quiet longing to be somewhere they don't have to perform.
To be seen.
To laugh.
To listen.
To remember they're not alone.
This evening is a celebration of that.
Whether you've been part of our community for years, or you've never walked through our door before, you're warmly welcome.
With special guest…Starling
I'm delighted to welcome singer, songwriter and coach Starling to A Wee Retreat.
I've admired the way she weaves music and conversation together to explore confidence, self-expression and what it means to truly find your voice.
Her evenings aren't performances in the traditional sense.
They're invitations.
Through songs, stories and honest conversation, she creates a space where women often recognise something of themselves.
I have a feeling it's going to be a very special evening.
What to expect
We'll begin the evening together with a warm welcome, drinks and gentle conversation.
There'll be time to settle in, meet other women and enjoy being part of something special before Starling joins us.

Why Gather the Women?
This year marks ten years since I began bringing women together.
What started as small gatherings has grown into retreats, circles, coaching and a beautiful community of women supporting one another through every season of life.
The name of this evening feels especially meaningful to me.
As well as celebrating ten years of gathering, I'm also proud to have co-authored Gathering Women with Lynette Allen, a book exploring the wisdom, connection and strength that emerge when women come together. The title feels especially close to my heart
