About Suzi

For a long time, from the outside, my life looked successful.

I had a career as a Software Engineer, a good salary, a beautiful home, and all the things I thought would make me happy.

But underneath it was a quiet feeling that something wasn't quite right.

A sense that there had to be more than this.

Following the birth of my first child, I was diagnosed with depression. What felt like one of the most difficult periods of my life became the beginning of a very different journey.

A journey into healing, wellbeing, psychology, meditation and self-discovery.

A journey that ultimately led me to leave my corporate career and create a different life altogether.

That was over 20 years ago, and I've been working in health and wellbeing ever since.

Today, I help women create space to slow down, reconnect with themselves and hear what has often been drowned out by the noise of everyday life.

Not because they need fixing.

But because so often, what they're looking for is already there.

It simply needs the space to emerge.

My Approach

Over the years I've explored many different approaches to healing and personal growth.

Some have come through formal training.

Others through my own lived experience.

At the heart of my work is a simple belief:

Most women don't need more information.

They need more space.

Space to breathe.

Space to listen.

Space to notice what's already true.

Whether I'm working with someone one-to-one, facilitating a retreat, leading a group experience or simply sitting together in conversation, my intention is always the same:

To create a space where you can hear yourself more clearly.

A space where insight can emerge naturally.

A space where you can come back into relationship with yourself.

The Importance of Stillness

A central part of both my life and my work is meditation.

I have spent a number of months on retreat in the mountains of Spain, exploring silence, stillness and contemplative practice.

What began as a personal exploration became something much deeper.

I've learned that beneath the noise, the striving and the constant doing, there is often a quieter wisdom waiting to be heard.

This experience has shaped the way I work and the spaces I create.

Not spaces that push or pressure.

But spaces that allow.

A Wee Retreat

Today I run A Wee Retreat in the beautiful Scottish Borders town of Peebles.

Through retreats, coaching, counselling, workshops and group experiences, I support women to reconnect with themselves and create meaningful, lasting change.

My work draws on psychology, mindfulness, coaching, meditation, intuition and nervous system awareness.

But more than anything, it is about creating the conditions for clarity, self-trust and transformation to emerge naturally.
