The Well Rested Woman
A six-month private coaching journey for women who are ready to stop living from exhaustion and begin living from themselves.
There comes a point where trying harder no longer makes sense.
You've read the books. Listened to the podcasts. Tried to create better boundaries, healthier habits and a life that feels more balanced. You've done so much of what you thought would help, and yet something still feels just out of reach.
It's difficult to explain because, from the outside, your life may look exactly as you hoped it would. You're capable, thoughtful and dependable. The woman others turn to. You hold a great deal, and you do it well.
But quietly, almost imperceptibly, you've become disconnected from the one person you've spent the least time listening to.
Yourself.
Perhaps you can't quite explain what's wrong. You only know that something no longer fits.
You long for rest, yet even when you stop, something in you can't.
You sit down with a cup of tea and immediately think about everything else you should be doing.
You replay conversations long after they've finished.
You find yourself saying yes when something inside you wanted to say no.
You instinctively know what everyone else needs, but you're no longer sure what you need yourself.
It's as though you've become so practised at responding to everyone else's expectations that, little by little, you've stopped hearing your own voice. Not all at once, but over years, until living from pressure became so familiar that it simply felt like who you were.
And yet...
there are moments.
Perhaps you're walking in nature.
Perhaps you're sitting in meditation.
Perhaps you've escaped for a weekend away.
Or perhaps you're simply watching the sea, with nowhere else to be.
For a few precious moments, something softens.
The constant doing eases.
The noise becomes quieter.
You stop editing yourself.
You stop trying to be who everyone else needs you to be.
And you catch a glimpse of something that feels both unfamiliar and strangely familiar at the same time.
Yourself.
Not the version of you who is managing everything.
Not the version who is trying to keep everyone happy.
Just you.
Then life gathers pace again.
The emails.
The responsibilities.
The endless mental lists.
And that quieter part of you gently slips back beneath the surface.
If you've found your way here, I wonder if that quieter part of you has been trying to get your attention.
Not because you're broken.
Not because you need fixing.
But because somewhere beneath all the doing, you already know there must be another way to live.
Not by becoming someone different.
But by creating the conditions in which you can hear yourself clearly.
Trust what you hear.
And begin living from that place.
Over the last twenty years, I've had the privilege of sitting with hundreds of women.
Women who looked as though they had everything together.
They were capable.
Thoughtful.
Successful.
The women everyone else relied on.
Many of them had already done a great deal of work on themselves.
They'd read the books.
Listened to the podcasts.
Been to therapy.
Invested in coaching.
They weren't lacking awareness.
In fact, many of them knew exactly what they wanted to change.
They wanted to stop overthinking.
Stop people pleasing.
Set healthier boundaries.
Feel calmer.
Rest more.
Trust themselves.
And yet, time and again, they would say something like:
"I know what I need to do... so why can't I seem to do it?"
Perhaps you've wondered that too.
If you have, I'd love you to know that I don't think it's because there's something wrong with you.
I don't think you're broken.
I don't think you're failing.
And I certainly don't think you need to try harder.
I think you've simply been trying to create change while carrying far more than anyone was ever meant to carry.
When your mind is constantly occupied...
When you're holding everyone else's needs alongside your own...
When your body has forgotten what it feels like to truly settle...
It's incredibly difficult to hear the quieter voice within you.
Not because it's gone.
But because there's been so much noise.
That's why my work begins somewhere different.
I don't begin by asking, "What do you need to do differently?"
I begin by asking,
"What would need to change for you to hear yourself clearly again?"
Because in my experience, lasting change doesn't begin with another strategy.
It begins when we create the conditions that allow you to slow down...
to notice...
to reconnect with yourself...
and to begin making choices from that place.
The answers you're looking for aren't something I give you.
More often than not...
they're something you remember.
Can I share something I've noticed?
People often ask me how I came to work in this way.
The truth is, I didn't set out to create a method.
Over the last twenty years, through counselling, coaching, teaching meditation and mindfulness, and holding retreat spaces, I've had the privilege of walking alongside hundreds of women.
Every woman has been different.
Every story has been unique.
And yet, over time, I began to notice something that kept returning.
The women who experienced the deepest, most lasting change weren't necessarily the women who had the greatest insight.
Nor were they the women trying the hardest.
They were the women who, often for the first time in a very long time, found themselves in the right conditions.
Conditions where they no longer had to rush.
Where they no longer had to hold everything together.
Where they felt safe enough to tell the truth.
Where they could stop performing, stop editing themselves, and simply notice what was really there.
Again and again, I watched something remarkable happen.
When the nervous system began to settle...
When there was space to breathe...
When attention softened and turned gently inwards...
Women began to hear themselves in a different way.
Not because I had given them the answers.
But because the answers had always been there.
They had simply been buried beneath years of noise, responsibility and trying to be everything to everyone.
That observation changed everything about how I work.
Rather than asking,
"What do you need to do differently?"
I became much more interested in another question.
What conditions would allow you to hear yourself clearly enough to choose differently?
Everything I now offer is built around that question.
My work has been shaped by over twenty years of professional training and lived practice across psychotherapy, coaching, meditation and mindfulness, nervous system regulation, hypnotherapy, EFT, yoga and contemplative practice.
Each discipline has offered a different perspective on how people change. Together, they've deepened my understanding of the relationship between the mind, the body and the stories we carry about ourselves. But I don't think of them as separate techniques or a toolkit to work through.
They simply help me meet each woman as the unique person she is.
So, before I ask what needs to change, I ask something much more important.
What does this woman need, in this moment, to become available for change?
Sometimes the answer is rest.
Sometimes it's awareness.
Sometimes it's grief.
Sometimes it's a difficult conversation.
Sometimes it's learning to trust herself again.
The philosophy remains the same.
The journey is always unique.
Because this work has never been about fitting women into a framework.
It's about meeting you exactly where you are.
Holding a space where you no longer have to perform.
And walking alongside you until the woman you've always been begins to feel like home again.
Why I work this way
What working together looks like
By now, you'll probably have realised that this isn't about becoming a better version of yourself.
It's about creating the conditions in which you can reconnect with the woman you've always been.
Every woman who comes to work with me brings a different story.
Different experiences.
Different hopes.
Different patterns.
Which means no two coaching journeys are ever the same.
Rather than following a rigid formula, I meet you exactly where you are.
I listen.
I notice.
Together, we become curious about what is asking for your attention.
While every journey is unique, over the years I've noticed that lasting change tends to unfold in similar ways.
Not in a straight line.
Not as a checklist.
But as a natural rhythm.
I call this The Well-Rested Woman Method.
It offers a gentle structure for our work together, while leaving plenty of space for what is uniquely yours.
Everything begins here.
Not with changing your life.
With meeting your life as it is.
This is where we slow things down.
We begin to untangle the noise from what is true.
We explore the ways you've learned to cope, adapt and keep going, always with compassion, never with judgement.
Many women tell me this is the first time they've felt they could simply stop... and exhale.
Arrive
Before we ask you to make different choices, we create the conditions that make those choices possible.
Together, we'll work with your nervous system so your body begins to experience safety, steadiness and rest.
As your system settles, you'll notice more space.
More clarity.
More capacity.
Not because life has changed overnight.
But because you're no longer meeting it from a place of constant survival.
Stabilise
Choose
As you become more connected to yourself, different choices begin to emerge.
Not because you're forcing yourself to change.
But because you're no longer reacting in the same automatic ways.
You begin responding from your own wisdom instead of old conditioning.
One conversation.
One boundary.
One decision.
One moment at a time.
Until living in alignment feels less like hard work and more like who you are.
Sustain
This work was never designed to make you dependent on me.
Quite the opposite.
My hope is that, over time, you'll develop a relationship with yourself that feels steady enough to support you long after our work together has ended.
Together, we'll create practices, rhythms and ways of living that help you keep returning to yourself, whatever life brings.
Because life won't suddenly become perfect.
But you'll meet it differently.
With greater presence.
Greater clarity.
And a deeper trust in yourself.
The Well-Rested Woman Method isn't about fixing what's broken.
It's about creating the conditions in which lasting change can unfold, naturally, gently and in a way that is uniquely your own.
When we slow down, we begin to see.
The patterns you've lived with for years.
The beliefs you've mistaken for truth.
The ways you've learned to edit yourself to belong, to achieve or to keep the peace.
Not so we can judge them.
Simply so they no longer have to run your life unnoticed.
Awareness isn't the end of the journey.
It's the beginning of freedom.
Notice
Our 6 months together
This isn't a programme to complete.
It's a relationship you'll build with yourself, held within a coaching relationship with me.
Over six months, we'll create the space to slow down, notice what has been quietly shaping your life, and begin making choices from a place that feels more grounded, more spacious and more deeply your own.
We'll meet regularly in one-to-one coaching sessions, where you'll have the time, attention and support to explore whatever feels most alive for you.
Some sessions will bring clarity.
Some will bring challenge.
Some will bring unexpected relief.
Others may ask you to sit with uncertainty for a while.
There is no expectation that you'll arrive having everything worked out.
In fact, many women begin with a simple feeling that something isn't quite right, even if they can't yet put it into words.
We'll begin there.
Between our sessions, you'll continue gently integrating what emerges into your everyday life.
You may receive practices to support your nervous system, reflective exercises, guided meditations, or resources chosen specifically for where you are in your journey.
Nothing is prescribed simply because it's part of a programme.
Everything is offered because it's what will best support you in that moment.
Throughout our six months together, you'll receive:
Twelve private coaching sessions over six months.
Personalised practices and reflections, shaped around your unique journey.
Guided recordings to support your practice between sessions.
Email support between sessions, when you need it.
A confidential, compassionate space where every part of you is welcome.
More than anything, you'll be met exactly where you are.
You won't need to perform.
You won't need to have the right words.
You won't need to arrive as a better version of yourself.
You simply need to arrive as you are.
From there, we'll walk together.
What becomes possible?
Every woman's journey is different.
There isn't a single outcome I could promise, because no two women arrive in the same place or leave with exactly the same experience.
What I can share is what women often tell me after we've worked together.
Not that they've become someone new.
But that they've become more themselves.
"Exactly what I was looking for. Happier and living with more ease, more in tune with myself."
"Prior to working with Suzi, I felt numb. I now feel happier, more at ease and more inside myself. I'm connecting better with everyone around me, and it's so interesting to see how people are more drawn to me."
"I learned how much I was dismissing my own opinion and feelings, and how that was leading me to live inauthentically."
"I now feel more like myself and am able to take up space. I didn't even really understand what taking up space meant before."
"The most important part was how safe I felt. That allowed me to open up, explore what was really going on beneath the surface, and move beyond patterns that had been holding me back for years."
Working together isn't always easy.
There are conversations that ask for honesty.
Patterns that ask to be understood.
Choices that ask for courage.
But when women look back at where they began, they rarely talk first about what they achieved.
They talk about how they feel.
More at ease.
More connected.
More present.
More themselves.
Ways we can work together
The Well-Rested Woman is designed as a six-month private coaching journey.
In my experience, lasting change doesn't happen through a single conversation or a quick fix. It unfolds through consistency, presence and having the time to gently practise a different way of being.
That's why I encourage most women to begin with six months.
You can choose the experience that feels right for you.

Three months
Nine months
Twelve months
If you're unsure which would best support you, we can explore that together during an initial conversation.
