Rest to Rise

A Spring Equinox Retreat for Women ready to begin again

19–23 or 19-25 March 2026 | Loch Tay, Scotland

Your life looks good on the outside.
But lately, you don’t feel lit from within.
You’re the one others turn to in crisis

You cope.
You lead.
You hold everything steady.

And somewhere along the way, living like this muted your sense of aliveness.

And your body knows it.

Here’s the part you haven’t said out loud:

If you keep living at this pace, you will build your next chapter from depletion.

You’ll make careful decisions instead of true ones.
You’ll choose what other people expect rather than what makes you feel alive.
You’ll go through the motions - disconnected from yourself.
You’ll have a life that works, but doesn’t feel fully alive or aligned.

And over time, that quiet dimness becomes normal.

This is how women end up successful and strangely untouched by their own lives.

Rest to Rise is a deliberate pause.

Not a collapse.

Not an escape.

A return.

I was bone tired, exhausted and wired. I left grounded, embodied, and lighter than I’ve felt in years.
— Laura, Rest to Rise Retreat

What Happens When You Stop Holding Everything

Over four or six nights in the Highlands, the pace changes.

You put your phone down.

You are not needed for anything.

Your breath deepens.

Your thoughts slow down.

The weight you didn’t realise you were holding begins to lighten

You’ll join

• Morning movement that wakes your body without forcing it

• Breathwork that settles the nervous system beneath the surface

• Circle conversations that allow honesty without performance

• Long, unscheduled stretches of quiet - real quiet

• Ritual marking what you are done carrying

• Space to walk alone with your own thoughts

• Firelight, open sky, cold air, warm food prepared for you

The very conditions curated for your aliveness to return.

And when it does, it doesn’t arrive loudly.

It feels like warmth in your chest.

Like your spine lengthening.

Like your voice sounding more like your own.

This is the rise.

What Changes

The fog lifts.

The constant low-level hum of pressure softens.

You stop tolerating conversations that drain you.

You stop volunteering for emotional labour that was never yours.

A postponed decision becomes clear.

A rehearsed boundary becomes clean.

Your body feels warm instead of wired.

Open instead of armoured.

The most noticeable shift?

You feel sourced.

Not from pressure.

Not from proving.

From within.

I have found me again.
— BRYONY - WELL RESTED WOMAN RETREAT

This Retreat Is For You If…

You’ve been holding it together for everyone else -
and you know it’s time to be held.

You’re not in crisis.
But you are at a turning point.

A threshold before the next season begins - and you want to meet it awake.

You’re not looking to be fixed. You’re ready to be honest.

You value depth over distraction. Presence over performance. Truth over temporary comfort.

You don’t want more insight. You want integration.

You’re willing to invest - financially and emotionally - in realignment.

You’re willing to arrive as you are - tired, tender, unsure and let that be enough.

If that lands in your body as recognition, you’ll be at home here.

If your heart is craving time to rest fully in supportive surroundings, this retreat offers the space to simply be. I arrived a little crumpled and I’m leaving with a sparkle in my eyes and trust in my soul.
— RHIANA - WELL RESTED WOMAN RETREAT

Meet Your Guide

Suzi Gibson | Psychotherapist | Master Coach | Retreat Leader | Ritualist

Suzi Gibson has been guiding women home to themselves for over two decades.

Not only through professional training -
but through a lived devotion to stillness, seasonal rhythm, and deep inner work.

A psychotherapist, intuitive coach, and long-standing retreat facilitator, Suzi holds spaces that are steady, grounded, and deeply attuned.

The kind of space where performance drops.
Where your nervous system begins to settle.
Where honesty feels safe.

Her work is shaped by years of personal practice - long meditation retreats, seasonal living, and a commitment to depth that doesn’t rush transformation.

She is not here to fix you. She is here to hold the conditions where you can meet yourself clearly.

Women often say: “I’ve never felt this safe. This seen. This met.” And that is intentional.

The Team Holding You

This retreat is supported by a small, carefully chosen team. Women who understand depth. Who value quiet leadership. Who know how to hold space without taking it over.

Every woman involved in this retreat understands the tone of the container.

Nothing performative. Nothing chaotic. Just grounded presence.

Caroline - Private Chef

All meals are thoughtfully prepared on-site, allowing you to fully step out of planning and into receiving.

Caroline is a plant-based chef specialising in seasonal, nourishing cuisine designed to support restoration and connection.

Her approach is rooted in fresh, locally sourced ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and food that feels both grounding and abundant.

Each meal is crafted to allow you to fully step out of planning and into receiving. There is care in the presentation. Intention in the flavour. And a quiet joy in gathering around a table prepared for you.

As one guest shared: “Caroline brings something truly unique to her food. Everything is fresh, carefully considered, and locally foraged. You can feel the care in every detail, and each meal became a highlight of the retreat.”

Lel - Movement Guide

Daily embodied practice is guided with care, supporting your nervous system and integration.

Lel brings a lifelong devotion to embodied practice. With a background in Mind Calm, Reiki, EFT, and Yoga, her work is rooted in nervous system awareness and gentle strength.

A long-standing teacher at A Wee Retreat in Peebles, Lel first joined these retreats as a guest before becoming a trusted and integral part of the team.

Her approach to movement is grounded and invitational. An exploration rather than a performance. A space to meet your body honestly, without expectation.

Each morning, Lel will guide the movement practice, supporting you to arrive in yourself before the day unfolds. Her presence is steady, warm, and quietly strengthening.

Laura - Retreat Support

You’ll be quietly supported so the space feels seamless, steady, and safe.

Laura provides retreat support throughout the experience, ensuring the space feels steady, seamless, and well held.

An integral part of A Wee Retreat since its early days, Laura has collaborated on numerous events and has also experienced these retreats firsthand as a guest.

She understands the rhythm of the container from the inside.

Her presence is warm, attentive, and quietly grounding, offering practical support while preserving the integrity of the space.

You’ll feel her care in the details.
